About Sasha

Sasha just turned twelve in April. He is a quiet boy who is very reserved and hard to read but loves riding bikes and playing video games. He is awesome at playing soccer and likes to draw. Although his smile did not come as often as we would have hoped, when he did smile it was contageous! We miss you, Sasha!

As some of you already know, there are problems at the orphanage that Sasha is at. That region of Ukraine is very against international adoptions and are doing everything possible to make it so these children can't be adopted. Therefore, we are in a "waiting game" even more so with Sasha, as we don't know if things will ever improve enough to make it so we can go and get him. This just breaks my heart. The worst thing is that we don't know if he has even gotten any of our letters or packages and the thought of him thinking that we don't want him is almost unbearable...
